Welcome to Mantis Tarot! My name is Mantis, and I am here to share my spiritual journey with Tarot, and to encourage you to use the cards as a tool on your own inner path. Tarot can be a wonderful tool for spiritual development. Its themes, archetypes and messages urge us to consider every aspect of our inner lives. When applied to the process of awakening, it can lead us through every aspect of ourselves that is preventing us from seeing clearly. This blog explores meanings and applications of the Tarot cards to the spiritual life.

In this blog, I would like to share with you interpretations of the Major and Minor Arcana cards as they pertain to spiritual and mental development and awakening. These interpretations arise from my own experiences with life, with the Divine, and with the inner realities of my being. I hope that you will join me in exploring them.

I also plan on sharing spreads, readings and thoughts on Tarot. Besides the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot, I mostly use the wonderful Fountain Tarot, as well the Lumina Tarot; and will also be posting interpretations of cards specific to these decks. The Fountain will come first! Its soft yet meaningful imagery is particularly wonderful for working with spiritual themes.
