As we move in the world, as we act and do, we weave a web. Thoughts solidify into strands; words become structures; actions turn into silk. And this web becomes our fate. The workings and laws of the universe are like that strong silk, and as we employ them and interact with them, we weave. We create things anew, and we transform conditions. And just like the spider’s material is already contained inside her; so does our creating come from within, from that beautiful nexus of individual and cosmic that is our mind and heart. As we play with the strands of life, we create the wheel of our own destiny. May our web be built of goodness; of kindness and strength.
