“As above, so below. As within, so without.” When something doesn’t seem to be working OUT THERE, what does that have to say about our inner reality? The Ace of Pentacles in the Lumina Tarot shows a hand of manifestation. This is how we touch the world with our being and create new things. If you found your way to this reading, you may have things in your life that you wish were different. Or perhaps you have been trying to make something happen, but have been encountering obstacles and walls. Or maybe you had an intention to do or have something, and once you brought it to life, it didn’t come out as you expected it to. In any event, we all have outward circumstances that don’t exactly match our purest intention.
The Two of Swords, in that case, is an invitation into clarity. This card is a pathway to vision that is restored through the temporary blocking of the outside world. As we take a pause from accepting input from outside of us, and take time to truly see the realities within, we give ourselves a chance to regain our true sight. If something isn’t working out for you out there, this is a call to “close your eyes” for a moment, and to look for the answer within. What mental states, attitudes, and paradigms may be contributing to, or hindering your journey? What habits support you, and which stand in your way? Are you trying to force something into being that should instead be released?
Take a break from waiting, from expecting, from wishing this or that would happen. Take a break from the world, so to speak. Leave your expectations at the door, and take a journey within. There, you will find a lake. As you allow it to be still, it will reflect your own image back to you. From this place of stillness, your vision is restored, and then you can once again see clearly what needs to be done, what needs to be released, and what should remain the same. True vision, within and without, is our invitation today.
